2025-26 Track Season Information
You MUST have a sports physical on file in the HMS office.

SEASON:
- Paperwork will go out on February 2nd 2026 first formal Track meeting February 26th, in the Commons (during Eagle time)
- Parent Meeting on March 3rd at 5pm - HMS Commons
- Please fill out the following 3 HMS Track Links/Documents forms by March 9, 2026.

- Track begins on Monday, March 23rd
- Last meet is on May 20th
- Pizza & Pasta Awards Banquet May 21st at 4:00pm
PRACTICE:
- Practices are every day, 2:40-4:45 p.m.. Dual sport athletes may leave earlier.
- Practices will be at the High School Track
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS:
- You MUST have a current Physical on file (dated April 15, 2025 or later) in the M.S. Office. (Sports Physical)
- You must have paid your $100 Participation Fee for the year - fee will be added to student's account 2nd week of the season - online payments are preferred
- You must keep your grades up

EQUIPMENT:
- Track Shirt MUST be purchased by April 4th at our store spiritoflivingston.com
- You need a good pair of running shoes (not cross-trainers)—Here you will find our shoe recommendations
- Spikes are optional but are highly recommended for varsity runners
- You will need sweats (a top and a bottom)
- You will need cold weather clothing and wet weather clothing
COST:
- If you are NEW to MS Track, you will need to buy a Track Shirt ($40) at our online Track Store spiritoflivingston.com
- Participation fee $100 (if you have not already participated in any school sport this year)
PREPARATION:
- You need to begin to run every day! Start TODAY! Here you will find our
MIDDLE SCHOOL TRACK EVENTS: you may do 3
- 70 dash, 100 dash, 200 dash, 400 dash, 800 run, 1600 run, 3200 run
- 70 hurdles, 200 hurdles, long jump, high jump, shot put
- Relays: 4x100, 4x200, 4x400, 4x800
