2024-2025 Cross Country Season Information
UPDATES FOR 2024/2025 SEASON
- First team practice will be on August 20, 2024
- Team will practice on Mondays thru Thursdays - 2:45pm - 4:15pm.
- Team will change in locker rooms in the gym, put their clothes in their backpack, leave backpack in their school locker.
- Team will meet Coach Bliznik outside, where the buses drop-off/pick-up.
- There will be a parent meeting, Wednesday, 8/21, at 5pm.
ALL students MUST have a sports physcial on file in the office. Sports Physical form
Season:
Please fill out HMS Cross Country Documents (below) by August 20th
.
Practices will be held on school property from 2:45-4:00pm (4:30 1st two weeks)
Dual sport athletes may leave earlier
Athletes can be picked up in front or in the back of the Middle School
Parent Meeting on August 21st at 5 p.m.
Last meet is TBD

Participation Requirements:
You MUST have a current Physical on file in the M.S. Office (Sports Physical)
You must have paid your $100 Participation Fee for the year (please make check out to Hartland
Consolidated Schools)
You must keep your grades up
Equipment:
Cross Country Shirt MUST be purchased by August 30th - Spirit of Livingston
You need a good pair of running shoes (not cross-trainers) - Cross Country Shoe Report 2023-24
You will need sweats (a top and a bottom)
You will need cold weather clothing and wet weather clothing
Meets
We have 10 meets, usually one per week. There are dual meets, 2 teams, and invitationals
with up to 20 teams
Races
We run a 2 mile varied terrain race. Our home course starts and finishes near the Hartland
High School Baseball fields.
